A native Tennessean and a graduate of the University of Alabama and the Stanford Graduate School of Business, Michael spent years working in and around Wall Street—an experience that sharpens his believable portrayal of wealth, power, corruption, and ambition. 

Today, he lives and writes in California where his debut novel, Montecito, was serialized from July 2022 to February 2023 in the pages of the Montecito Journal. He is currently at work on new fiction.
